Contact was an organisation that thought nationally and worked locally to support children and families across Australia in isolated, rural, regional and remote communities.
We did this by working across communities to find solutions to local service gaps and to improve access to support and information.
Due to our networks and capability, we were uniquely placed to reach hard-to-reach communities. We had the agility to authentically co-design, evolve and test practical programs for children and families, with a focus on achieving meaningful impact.
The legacy of Contact’s work continues through the people, programs, partnerships and communities that were strengthened over 46 years.

Rather than designing services, Contact went into communities, asked families, community members and the services about what they needed and began building responses around those needs.
